If you ever experience a new leak from the Coolant Transfer Pipe Seal through the “weep hole” in your Timing Chain Cover, please call the StentFix Customer Service Department at 1-520-544-4400.
You will be required to provide proof of the new leak by making a short video of the “weep hole” leak on your smartphone and emailing the video to StentFix. Once we review your video and verify the new “weep hole” leak, you will be offered your choice of receiving a free replacement StentFix® kit and Stent removal tool, or you can remove the Stent with the removal tool, and return the Stent and unused portion of the kit to receive a 100% money-back refund for your original purchase price. Buyer pays return shipping. The cost of “rush shipping” or “international shipping” fees is not covered by this StentFix Guarantee and will not be refunded.
Only the Coolant Transfer Pipe Seal leak from the “weep hole” in the Timing Chain Cover is covered under this Lifetime Warranty. Leaks from other parts of the cooling system, such as the Rear Coolant Passage, Valley Pan Seal, Alternator Housing Gasket, or any other parts of the cooling system, are NOT COVERED BY THIS LIFETIME WARRANTY.
Remember, it is recommended, but NOT REQUIRED, to add the bottle of StentFix® Cooling System Sealant and Conditioner in order to stop future coolant leaks coming from the Coolant Transfer Pipe Seal. This Cooling Pipe Seal leak is repaired by the installation of the StentFix® Stent, but the bottle can be added as a preventative measure to help reinforce the StentFix Stent repair.
We do recommend adding the bottle of StentFix Cooling System Sealant and Conditioner as a preventative measure. If you have an engine coolant leak from the Rear Coolant Passage, Valley Pan Seal, Alternator Housing Gasket, or any other cooling system leak, then it is necessary to add the bottle of the StentFix Cooling System Sealer and Conditioner to the upper radiator hose. Do not add the bottle to the Expansion Tank Coolant Reservoir!! Once the bottle is added to the upper radiator hose, then it is necessary to drive the vehicle for approximately 200 miles after the installation of the bottle of StentFix® Cooling System Sealant and Conditioner in order to stop the leak. The 200 miles do not have to be continuous driving. It can be in 5 or 10-mile intervals as part of normal driving.
This Warranty only covers the original purchase price of the product. This Warranty DOES NOT cover labor charges for installing the product, removing the product, or any incidental costs. Please verify you have a BMW N62 V8 engine before purchasing this product.
